Terms of Services
Last modified: 2021-09-09
Purpose
These are the terms you agree to when using the jusTech website and services. We will try our best to provide high-quality services, while you will agree to access our website responsibly and legally. Ultimately, our goal is to promote access to justice through our breach workflow, cybersecurity courses, and membership portal. These terms reflect that mission.
We do not provide legal advice or services
We do not provide legal advice or services. At no point should you presume that any of our services, written material, or other website offering is legal advice. Our services are meant to help you with part of the breach reporting process in Canada, teach you about cybersecurity, or connect you with a professional who can assist you further. If we mention legal requirements in any form, it is only to provide you with general knowledge about the law in Canada, not legal advice about your specific situation. We are not a law firm and we are not licensed lawyers. That means that you are ultimately responsible for any legal requirements or responsibilities. Please seek legal assistance if you are unsure of those legal responsibilities.
Changing these Terms
We may need to change these terms as our business evolves. We may do so without notifying you, so please revisit these Terms on our website periodically to see any adjustments. If you provide us an email through our membership system, we will notify you of major changes made to these terms. Your continued use of our website and services means that you have agreed to the updated terms. We will post the ‘last modified’ date (see above).
Using our Services
We volunteered our time and effort to develop these services for you to use. You agree to use our services solely for educational and regulatory compliance purposes. This means that you will not use the documents, course videos and materials, policies, or any other part of the jusTech website or services for alternative purposes. Additionally, you agree not to copy, modify, share, or otherwise alter the course content without explicit approval by us. Alternatively, you can alter your privacy breach documents and policies received through our workflow if you wish, however you agree to use those documents for your own purposes only. You agree and that you will use the service only for its stated purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree that you will not use jusTech in any manner whatsoever that is harmful to you or to others, or which could be construed as harassment, intimidation or a violation of the privacy rights of others.

You may not modify or reproduce the content on any part of the service or any materials made unless authorized in writing by jusTech Solutions Inc. In particular, you may modify or reproduce the documents you generate through our services. Accuracy
We will routinely check the accuracy of our services to ensure they are up-to-date with legal and administrative requirements for breach reporting. You can see the last time we reviewed those requirements at the end of our privacy breach workflow. However, the law and administrative decisions may change rapidly, so we cannot guarantee that our services will be up-to-date when you use them. You agree to take full responsibility for the ultimate quality and correctness of the forms you receive from our website. We are here to help you with this process, but you agree to take ultimate responsibility.
Your Privacy
When you access our site and use our services we are required to collect and monitor certain information about you. You agree to allow use to do so. We collect that information according to our Privacy Policy, please review it if you have concerns. Rest assured, we will do everything to protect your privacy.
